A couple days ago I went herping at the field near my house for the fith time this year. After lifting some tin that we expected to find snakes under I thought we were going to be skunked. I had been looking for kingsnakes there latley and hadn't found one. About ten minutes of searching my brother Ben found two Adult kingsnakes under the same peace of tin. They were mating but Ben didn't realise it until we got home. One of them had a rat in it. After we took pictures and let the other one go my brother ben spoted a rattlesnake in the grass. my brother silas went to grab for it because he thaught it was a gopher snake but then he realized it was a rallesnake. I ran over and kept scooping him up with my snake stick witch I had just got. I wasn't able to really stop the ratllesnake and he got away. On the way out I lifted A piece of bark and found a baby western yellow bellied racer. The racer was sheding. It was the best trip yet.

Today I went herping with my dad and brother.  I caught two alligator lizards, one blue belly, and stomped on one rat.  My dad caught about a 4 1/2 ft gopher snake and my brother caught about an 18 inch ring neck snake.  It was really fun.

On March 28 I went turkey hunting with my brother, dad, and Dale.  On are first set up we heard The birds gobbling and they were only about 90 yards away but some people scared them.  So we left are spot and went towards the canyon.  When we got there my dad did hen yelps on many different calls.  They didn't respond to any thing but my brother thought he heard foot steps.  Finally my dad did a hen yelp on the Heart breaker box call from primos.  On the first yelp they gobbled.  We set up quickly and kept calling on the box call.  After about a minute of gobbling and foot steps Five jakes popped up 8 yards away.  On shoot Ben and I both shot.  The two birds we aimed at had fallen.  It was an awesome hunt.

Two saturdays ago me and my dad went hunting. On are way there we think we saw a fox. The first place we almost got around three coyotes two come in. At the end of the hunt we called one in but he came up behind us and caught are scent. It was the best predator hunt I have ever been on.

Hey everybody. Today I am wrighting about the Awana Grand Prix. I went to it on Saturday. My car one the first heat that it was in. Lots of my freinds were there. I can't wait to do it again.

I might go to the Placerville skatepark soon. I have been working on tre-flips for a long time and I can only do them some times. Tre-flips are my favorite trick. I really want to get them down.

I did not catch anything last night. Hopefully tonight I will.

I am trapping tonight. I have not set my trap for about a month or two. The different animals I have caught are a fox,pigeon,skunks, and raccoons. I hope I catch somthing.

Today I went to Connor's house. We played some fun games. We are going to see him in two weeks.

This Sunday I am going to awana. Hopefully i'll pass discovery four. I started awana about two months ago. My brother is on dicovery seven. My brother skipped a little of discovery five because he has to bring two friends. Both my brothers are younger than me. My youngest brother is in sparkies. He finished a section in his book. I like awana.

Today I decided to write about my hunting trip this tuesday. Me, my dad, and my brothers went predator hunting. We didn't get anything but we heard coyotes that responded to are calls . On the way to were we were hunting we saw a coyote but it was on private land. pretty soon my dad is going to go around and ask some people if we can hunt on there property. Hopfully next time God will give us one.
